Dinho With Another Save

Again, Ronaldinho’s 93rd minute stellar goal was all what Milan needed to secure the 3 points against Braga in the UEFA Cup this midweek, followed by a big announcement from Ancelotti as he declares a “New Milan Era”.

“It’s been seven years since I arrived on the Milan bench, the first seven years have now been closed, tonight’s match was the first game of the next seven years.” -Carlo Ancelotti

Seven years of 2 Champions Leagues, 1 Scudetto, 2 UEFA Super Cup, 1 Coppa Italia, 1 Italian Super Cup & 1 FIFA World Club Cup.

Quite a statement from the great tactician. As for the game, it wasn’t the most entertaining game. Milan tried a new formation with 3 strikers and other changes. It was a decent game all in all. The most important thing are the points. Ronaldinho came in the second half for Pato and had a few nice touches nothing over the top, but the goal was magnificent. Only few days ago Coach Lippi said

“The Ronaldinho of Milan is Gattuso”.

The duo were also nicknamed as “Rinodinho”. Gattuso delivered again to set up Dinho with a great ball for him to have 5 goals with Milan so far this season.

Milan has to now focus on Lecce this weekend, the next few games until the break will be a very crucial part of our campaign.
