Dinho Double Show

Two goals by Ronnie, penalty and an assist by Kaka making Dinho score 3 goals for Milan this season. A great performance by Il Gaucho netted 3 points for the Rossoneri after a 3-0 victory against Sampdoria this Sunday.

An uneasy first half, but the second half was broken out wide open after Samp had to play with 10-men which opened the game for Milan, and the inclusion of Kaka in the second half made it easier for Dinho and the Rossoneri to grab the win. A penalty in the 55 minute gave Dinho the first goal of the game. Kaka set up a nice goal for Ronnie 10 minutes later to celebrate the 2nd goal. 3rd goal was scored by Super Pippo, this guy will continue to score forever and ever and ever, that’s why he is Super Pippooooooo.

Dinho comments on the game,

“I scored two goals and received a lot of applause from the crowd”

“I’m really extremely happy and I hope to score many more goals under the Curva Sud. The work of these two weeks at Milanello was really useful, and I must thank all the people and team-mates who are helping me out to find the right condition. Even today, my goal arrived from an assist by Kaka and I’m happy because with him we always found the right understanding.

“With regards to the game, we did not create a lot in the first half, because we had fewer spaces, but in the second half we created a lot of chances. Here in Milan I feel more at home with the passing of th days. All the people I meet welcome me very well and I hope to reward them with many more joys. In the meantime I’m recovering my rhythm.”

Goal.com gave him 8.5 rating for the perofamnce, stating

“Away from goal he is not the same player he was, but around the box he is still a real menace. Created two good chances in the first half for Jankulovski and Pato, while after the break he scored twice, and helped set-up the third.”

On Thursday Milan will face SC Heerenveen in Holland in the UEFA Cup. Milan will of course want nothing less than a win, but for the benefit of the team we should take it a notch easier. A game like that is one of these “as long as we get the 3-points”
