Dinho Continues To Score, But Milan Falls Again
By: fetyani | November 25th, 2008After being down 1-0, Pato scored the tie and a few minutes later a free kick was presented. Two great maestro’s Ronaldinho & Pirlo were ready to take on the free kick. Dinho takes one step and burry’s the ball in the back of the net. Unfortunately the game ended with a tie after Torino scored their second goal through a penalty kick.
Ronaldinho’s Free-Kick Goal
The Brazilian Trio (Kaka-Pato-Ronaldinho) played all together, and you can say, it can work with training and time. Goal.com gave Ronaldinho a rating of 7.5 “The signing of the summer so far gave the Rossoneri the lead in the 34th minute with a world class free kick”. But Milan still has to learn to create more opportunities and score them!! I personally believe the team has it in them, they just need Ancelotti to make the right decision at the right time, and it won’t be easy and quick.
In other news,
Earlier this week Ronnie was talking about how his personal problems were the reason for the rough patch with Barcelona last season.
“Many thought I was in decline and that I would never come back to my best level, but the truth is that at the beginning of this year I had an accident that created many problems.”
“They said and published many things that were hurtful to me. I wanted to prove to them that I am not finished.”
For one, I’m glad he’s getting back to the great Dinho we all enjoyed watching. Not much going around Dinho these days. Milan will be playing this Thursday in the UEFA Cup against Portsmouth. Our focus still remains on Serie A & The Scudetto.
Forza Dinho! Forza Milan!

Who did he run to on the bench when he scored?

as soon as i saw him running, before even getting to the bench i knew he was going to Antonini. apparently they’re best friends. Antonini is also nicknamed Antoninho because they hang out together a lot. and Antonini calls him my brazilian brother.

imo despite the beautiful direct kick goal this game represented a step backwards for ronnie. less running, less dribbling, and little attacking with the ball at his feet. yes, he did track back on defense a few times, but not consistently throughout the game. i am hopeful that he will continue to get a lot of minutes (even at the uefa game tomorrow) as this is the only way that he can finish the long climb back to being great again.
